Implementation Engineer
About Entegrata
At Entegrata, we help law firms turn data into decisions. We deploy a turnkey data lakehouse platform that consolidates siloed legal, operational, and financial data into single sources of truth, enabling unified reporting and AI-driven innovation. Founded in 2023 and headquartered in Indianapolis, we’re a fast-growing, venture-backed SaaS company on a mission to be the data platform of choice for the top law firms in the world.
We are expanding our Implementation Engineering team’s technical implementation capacity to meet growing customer demand and raise the bar on how legal data is collected, unified, and used.
What You'll Own
You'll be the technical counterpart to our Customer Experience Managers (CXM) on every customer implementation. While the CXM owns the project plan and customer relationship, you own the technical execution — making sure environments are configured correctly, data is mapped accurately, and the lakehouse is delivering reliable outputs before go-live.
This is a customer-facing role. You'll participate in kickoff sessions, lead technical working sessions with law firm IT teams, and lead when the conversation turns to data.
Day-to-day, that means:
Environment setup — provisioning customer instances, configuring networking connections, and establishing data connections between Entegrata's platform and customer source systems
Data mapping & integration — translating law firm data structures into Entegrata's data model across a range of financial, experience, HR systems & beyond including Aderant, Elite 3E, Foundation, ADP, UKG, Intapp products, and others
Technical customer engagement — participating in working sessions, responding to data-related questions, and explaining technical concepts clearly to technical & non-technical stakeholders
Issue resolution — identifying and resolving data mapping issues, mapping discrepancies, and configuration problems during the implementation cycle
Documentation — maintaining accurate configuration and environment documentation throughout the project
What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)
By month 3:
You've completed onboarding and have a solid working understanding of Entegrata's platform, networking, data model, and implementation process
You're contributing to active implementations under the guidance of the CXM and existing solution engineering resources — handling data mapping, configuration tasks, and participating in customer working sessions
You're comfortable in customer-facing technical conversations with support available
By month 6:
You're executing the technical workstream of implementations independently, coordinating directly with customer IT teams on data connections and system integrations
You can work across multiple customer environments with different source systems with minimal oversight for standard integration patterns
The CXMs you partner with consider you a reliable and proactive technical resource
By month 12:
You're managing the technical track of multiple concurrent implementations at different stages
You've identified & acted on multiple opportunities to improve implementation efficiency — a reusable mapping template, a documentation standard, or a repeatable configuration process
You have a track record of clean go-lives and a smooth working relationship with customers & CXMs
