Entegrata is a market leading, post-revenue, startup dedicated to revolutionizing the legal industry through advanced data analytics solutions. We specialize in building cutting-edge data lakehouses tailored for law firms, empowering them with actionable insights to make informed decisions.


The Role:

As a Power BI Engineer, you will be a primary contributor to designing, developing, and implementing our suite of Power BI products as part of our cloud-based SaaS data lakehouse for the legal sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business intelligence solutions, Power BI, Azure cloud technologies, and a proven track record of managing complex data projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data transformation, DAX, and data visualization while also understanding modern data architectures, including lakehouses and cloud-based analytics platforms.


  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of BI solutions.

  • Develop and maintain our Power BI environment, including data models, dashboards, reports, and Apps.

  • Utilize SQL, DAX, and Power BI to create data visualizations and reporting products.

  • Conduct thorough requirements gathering and data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights

  • Construct and manage data relationships between various data sources to ensure efficient data modeling and structuring.

  • Analyze and understand business requirements in context of reporting and analytics.

  • Demonstrate expertise in implementing and managing Power BI application security following best practices.

  • Architecting and implementing BI solutions using Azure services.

  • Stay up to date on the latest Power BI features and functionality.

This position is designed to be a hybrid role, splitting time between the office and a work from home environment, but full remote is an option as well.

 

This position may require minimal travel to training or conference events.


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years BI engineering experience

  • Expert level experience Power BI is required

  • Highly proficient in SQL

  • Highly proficient in DAX

  • Experience in data architecture, data quality and dimensional data modeling (Kimball dimensional model highly preferred).

  • Expertise with schema design and development, relational databases and SQL.

  • Ability to conduct data profiling, cataloging, and mapping for technical design and construction of technical data flows

  • The ability to apply methods to solve business problems using one or more Azure Data and Analytics services in combination with data pipelines and system integrations

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a law firm or legal environment, and expertise leveraging financial data from Aderant or 3E to build dashboards in Power BI.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, not required

  • Exposure to law firm leadership

  • Experience working as a consultant to Fortune 500 companies

  • Experience working for a SaaS product company

  • Working knowledge of lakehouse architectures, such as Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric

  • Exposure to software development concepts & tools, including DevOps, CI/CD, Github
